In this highly anticipated drum clinic, Krimh, will guide attendees through his trademark techniques that put him on the map for being one of the most sought-after and well-known drummers in the industry currently.
First, Krimh will demonstrate his unique drumming style by performing well-known songs from his catalog. Through these live demonstrations, he will deconstruct his approach, explaining the finer details of his technique.
After the live demonstration, there will be a Q&A, where Krimh will answer questions from the audience. Whether you're an aspiring drummer hoping to refine your skills, or a music enthusiast eager to understand the mind of one of metal's elite drummers, this clinic promises to be both educational and inspiring.
Born in Austria in 1989, Kerim "Krimh" Lechner developed a profound passion for rock drumming from a young age. At 13, he began pursuing his dream of playing drums, igniting a journey that would soon capture the attention of the international drumming community. In 2007, Krimh gained recognition through his drum covers on YouTube, attracting a growing fan base and invitations from bands worldwide. Joining Poland's DECAPITATED marked his debut as a professional drummer, followed by ventures into solo projects, including four albums and an acoustic EP. His YouTube channel, "Krimh Drummer," soared in popularity, particularly with two SLIPKNOT audition videos, sparking rumors of him as a potential successor to Joey Jordison. Later, he filled in for BEHEMOTH's drummer Inferno and eventually became SEPTICFLESH's full-time drummer.
Following the success of their album "Code Omega," SEPTICFLESH ful filled a long-held aspiration by performing with a full orchestra, choir, and children's choir in Mexico City on February 2, 2019, captivating an audience of 3200 people. Presently, SEPTICFLESH is promoting their latest album, "Modern Primitive”. With the evolution of modern music production towards home recording and MIDI programming, Kerim collaborated with renowned Swedish metal producer Jens Bogren. Together, they developed the highly acclaimed digital drum software known as "Krimh Drums." In 2022, Krimh teamed up with the American progressive death metal band DÅÅTH to resume music writing after a 13-year hiatus. Their upcoming album, "The Deceivers," is set for release through Metal Blade Records. Throughout his career, Krimh has collaborated with numerous bands, including Harakiri For the Sky, Vesania, and Keith Merrow, among others
