Delegate Mingle and Exclusive Concert
Wednesday, April 1. @ SALT art & music
To kick off the 20th Anniversary of Inferno Music conference, we will, as usual, have our exclusive Delegate Mingle at SALT art & music, from 17:00 - 19:00. This is the perfect place to meet up with old colleagues and friends while meeting new ones. We offer you a welcome drink and invite you to walk the “black carpet” and get a photo in front of our banner to let everyone know how smart you are by choosing to attend IMC and make them green with envy. Photos will be put in a Dropbox for you to look through. Be sure to tag us!
Following the mingle, we will put the spotlight on some of our incredible staff working behind the scenes, making magic happen for the Conference and Festival. We invite you to stay at Salt and turn your attention to Strangerous, Anal Kanal, Anchors and Pastelljudas.

Strangerous
Strangerous features Nora Elise Stemland, now in her sixth year as head of digital marketing for IMC, working hard to make us look good.
Strangerous explores the borderland between noise, dark ambient, contemporary and anything else that defies normal genre conventions. She works with electronic processing of sounds from field recordings, vocals, synth and sometimes other instruments. She has released three albums.
Attn:Magazine about Strangerous: “twisting the listener into a paradox of becoming both acquainted and alienated, pulling them into a buzzing, insidious greyscale trauma as the music churns like a horrid machine.”

Anal Kanal
Anal Kanal features Andreas Bjørke Sollien, our man on site for all things technical regarding IMC.
Anal Kanal (“the Bird Watchers” in norwegian, directly translated for all you internationals out there) is the love child of four dudes who once had nothing better to do. Against all odds this Punk-rock-abomination was established during the dark ages in the middle of Telemark, much to the dismay of the local population. Why wasn´t this project put out of its misery back then, while they still had the chance? Well, you´re all bound to find out!

Anchors
Anchors features Andrew Haugstad, who many of you already know. A staple and legend for the IMC.
Naalsund and Haugstad met as students at the Sound and Music Production Department at Noroff Oslo, where they bonded over their shared interest in metal and songwriting. After completing their education, they took their music further and developed an expression that appealed to both of them; catchy, hard-hitting metalcore with well-crafted lyrics and themes central to the expression.
Naalsund's main focus is to develop songs with connections to challenges that many can identify with. Haugstad, for his part, is the driving force behind the band's sound, and cites While She Sleeps and Parkway Drive as major inspirations.
In 2019, Anchors was completed, with the introduction of bassist Nicolò Cavallaro and drummer Joakim Mangersnes. The unique interaction between Cavallaro's prog-inspired rhythms and Mangersnes' drum groove puts the finishing touch on what will become one of the capital's metal bands to watch in the future.

Pastelljudas
Pastelljudas features Hanna K Pettersen, who is in charge of backline at John Dee for Inferno 2026 and we couldn’t be happier.
The soundscape and expression that Pastelljudas has is strongly influenced by Norwegian rock, punk and the new wave, which revolutionized Norwegian music in the 80s. While the band is true to their roots, they also show innovation in developing the already well-established sound of rock and punk. If you are looking for lyrics that hit the spot, melodies that are remembered, in other words: good music with energy, love and punch, then we can officially announce that: "The wait is over"
