Not Quite A Yacht, Rock Cruise

sunday, April 5, 12:30-15:00

That’s right. We received so much overwhelmingly positive feedback on our 1st Annual Delegate Cruise last year, that we’re making it a tradition!

To help you recharge your batteries after 3 straight days of beautiful brutality at Rockefeller, John Dee, Brewgata, Crow and Vaterland, we would like to cordially invite you, our esteemed delegates, to the Second Annual Not Quite a Yacht, Rock Cruise. We will meet outside of the Hub at approximately 12:30 on Sunday, April 5th and begin the walk over toward the docks, once again. Here, our own chartered ship will be waiting to take us on a 2-hour cruise of the Oslo fjørd and gorgeous scenery.

To give your ears a slight break from blast beats, your IMC hosts Erin Lynch and Andrew Haugstad will be spinning sweet Yachtrock jams of the 70’s and 80’s. Food and beverages will be available for purchase on the ship. So grab a beverage, nurse that hangover, network, finalize deals, and mingle to the sweet, cool sounds of yacht rock on our electric boat cruise.

Discover the scenic Oslo fjord in a 2-hour sightseeing cruise onboard of 100% electric, silent boat Oslofjord I.

When you sail from the city center - Rådhusbrygga 4 in Oslo, you have a great view of the city’s coastline with its impressive architecture and historical sites: Akershus fortress, the Opera house and the Munch Museum. You will sail past Hovedøya with cannons pointing over to the fjord and Bygdøy with the iconic Frammuseet, Oslofjord’s idyllic islands, many islets and coves and Dyna Fyr and a picturesque lighthouse. While on the cruise, you will see how the hills surround Oslo.

Don’t have time on Sunday? With your IMC/IMF ticket, you will get 20% off per person on the regular cruises, which leave from Rådhusbrygge 4 daily at 11:00 and 13:30. Get your tickets here.
