How do you administer and enlarge the identity and experience of your festival with the booking of specific artists? How does an agent decide on which festival booking will add up to the musical identity of the artist in play, and securing the necessities of live? The panel will help us get an insight on how to sustain the heart and soul of both your profile and the profile of artists you work with.

Mod: Mark van Schaick (NL)
Mark van Schaick has been writing about rock, metal and jazz since 1985. He has been the editor of music magazine OOR and musician's magazines Slagwerkkrant and Gitarist. 2018 saw the publication of his book Why Go, on the Seattle scene in the 1990's, including uncut interviews with Pearl Jam, Soundgarden and others. For Dutch copyright society Buma, Mark has programmed six editions of loud music conference and showcase festival Buma ROCKS! (until 2018). He is the current conference programmer of inJazz and New Music Conference, aimed at the international promotion of Dutch copyright in jazz and contemporary classical music. For webzine Never Mind The Hype he covered Inferno Music Conference 2019.
Luc Favié / Doomstar (NL)
Co-owner & senior agent at Doomstar Bookings, who represents over 150 artists globally with 8 agents and a solid back office. They build long term careers for their artists on european and worldwide level. The current worldwide challenges are implicated in the long term plans, and they strive for greener touring. Personal roster: Heilung, Abbath, Mayhem, Igorrr, Philip H Anselmo and the Illegals, Gaahls Wyrd, Aborted and many others.
Chucky Garcia / Rock al Parque (CO)
Artistic director of Rock al Parque Festival. Chucky has been working in the music sector in Colombia for the last twenty years as a journalist, music promoter and concert curator. Since 2014, he has been the Artistic Director of Rock al Parque Festival in Colombia, “one of the largest and most intense rock festivals in South America (and the world)”, with attendance around 340,000 people. The festival is financed by Bogota’s City Hall, so it’s free entrance, and it is bringing together the most important musicians in the world over three days (one day is dedicated to metal music and metalheads!).
Silje Wergeland / Beyond the Gates, the Gathering (NO)
Chairwoman of the board, manager of Beyond the Gates-festival, which is a 5 days metal festival located in Bergen, Norway. Silje is also a partner in Revelations Music and the vocalist of the Dutch band The Gathering.
Silje has worked in the international music industry for more than 20 years as an artist, as a festival organizer (Hole in the sky i.e) and in several non-profit artist & music business development centers aiming to support musicians, venues, promoters and other music business in Norway (Music Export Norway, BRAK, AKKS)
Seb Bailly / Bad Behavior Management (FR)
Manager and CEO at Bad Behavior Management; his new company created in January 2020. He started management duties at The Link Productions in France in 2014 with the artist Perturbator. Now he’s managing the bands Perturbator, Igorrr, Alcest, Hangman's Chair, Ruin of Romantics, Gost, and the UK record producer Jaime Gomez Arellano / Orgone Studios
